How do you get paid?+
There’s a setup fee depending on tier and level of service, plus commission on revenue. Each Custom Cocktails order is paid on the app, and the payment automatically splits: 85% straight to your account and 15% to ours. It keeps incentives aligned — we only win if you do.
Are there any hidden costs?+
No. Pricing is exactly what’s shown on the pricing page. No minimum term, no minimum sales, no surprise fees. We operate a fair policy and work to your satisfaction.
Is there a contract or minimum term?+
No minimum term. No minimum sales. No risk of unwanted bills. If you genuinely can’t make it work, we’ll pick up the pack — no questions asked. Results depend on adoption: the better you integrate it, the better it performs.
What happens if it’s too busy to fulfil orders?+
You have an “off button” to pause ordering instantly if service is packed out. Any paid orders not fulfilled are refunded to the customer.
How do you measure “uplift”?+
We establish a fair baseline on the call. Baseline is agreed from comparable trading weeks (excluding obvious outliers/events). Uplift is verified as Custom Cocktails sales generated — we measure sales of our product so impact is clean and trackable.
Do you need extra staff or new stock?+
No. It uses the stock and staff you already have. We recommend adding a Custom Cocktails section on your next menu reprint; redesign services can be provided if needed.
Is it stock-aware?+
Yes. We use your base stock list and keep recipes inside it. Stock updates are handled via our team with a 24-hour update window (done for you).
What about allergies?+
There is an allergens field and hard blocks in the system. Allergens are displayed alongside the recipe. Customers with allergens should also tell bar staff when ordering. Your venue controls fulfilment and compliance on service.
Are you responsible for compliance and ID checks?+
We provide an age tick-box in the flow, but venues control fulfilment and remain responsible for ID checks at service. Our terms state orders made knowingly by an underage drinker and refused at the bar are not entitled to a refund.
Do customers see the recipe before they pay?+
No. Guests receive the recipe after fulfilment. We found the highest completion and satisfaction when customers experience the finished cocktail first — ingredient lists can look odd on paper (egg whites, unusual balances) but work perfectly in the glass.
What if a customer doesn’t like their drink?+
We cover drinks that are rated under 2 stars (fair policy). Venue covers damage or mistakes in-bar (wrong make, dropped drink, etc). We’ll always come to you directly to resolve edge cases.
Do you offer postcode exclusivity?+
Yes. We will never take on another location in your postcode. Exclusive partners only — eventually each nightlife scene will have a bar who carries Custom Cocktails. Might as well be yours.
Does it need Wi-Fi?+
It can work on 4G, but Wi-Fi is recommended for best consistency.
What support do you provide?+
Support is provided by our team depending on tier, including a 24-hour support line (higher tiers). Payout reporting is provided and releases on Monday mornings.
Can pubs / breweries / tap houses use it?+
Typically we focus on cocktail bars. Pubs, breweries and tap houses usually don’t qualify for free setup and we can’t guarantee results like we can in actual cocktail bars (yet). You can still use it as a paid setup.
What’s the “win your money back” credit?+
If you hit 100 sales and achieve an extra £1,000/month run rate, we credit back your setup fee as free sales (commission free). If you don’t hit it but followed the checklist, attended training, posted 3x leading up to launch, and placed all QRs, we still credit it back (risk free).
Do customers get their recipe saved?+
Yes. Customers can access recipes if they come back another week. It’s stored with their name and sent to them via email after fulfilment.
