What’s the commission on?
+
Commission is only taken on Custom Cocktails sales processed in-app.
Every order is paid through the app and automatically split:
85% goes straight to your account and 15% goes to Custom Cocktails.
No commission is taken on your normal bar sales.
Are there hidden costs, minimum terms, or minimum sales?
+
No. What you pay is exactly what’s stated on the pricing page.
No contract lock-in, no minimum term, and no minimum sales.
The rewards depend on execution — for best results, integrate fully — but you’ll never get unwanted bills.
Can I pause or remove it instantly if it doesn’t work for my venue?
+
Yes. There’s an “off button” if service is too busy.
And if you decide it’s not right, we can remove it — no questions asked.
If we supplied your pack/hardware, we’ll arrange to pick it up.
How does “win your money back” / setup credit work?
+
If you hit 100 Custom Cocktails sales and achieve an extra £1,000/month run-rate,
we credit back your setup fee as free sales (commission-free).
If you miss the targets but you followed the rollout properly (checklist + training + socials + placement),
we still credit it back — risk free.
When does the credit apply — and why credit instead of cash refunds?
+
Credit is applied after the agreed review window and used as commission-free sales until it’s used.
We use credit instead of cash refunds because it keeps incentives aligned and pushes proper activation —
while still offsetting your setup cost in a fair way.
How do you measure baseline and uplift?
+
Baseline is typically your last 3 weeks (averaged) across a normal month, excluding outlier events —
agreed fairly on the call.
Uplift is measured as verified Custom Cocktails sales only (our high-margin product),
so you can see the impact cleanly without debating your whole bar’s revenue.
What if baseline weeks include events, closures, or weird outliers?
+
We establish a fair comparable baseline with you on the call.
If something makes the window unrepresentative (events, abnormal promos, closures),
we agree a clean period so measurement stays honest.
Will this slow down service on busy nights?
+
It’s built to reduce decision friction, not add it.
On high-pressure nights, you can use the off button to pause ordering.
If any paid orders aren’t fulfilled, they’re refunded to the customer.
Who makes the cocktail — do staff need to follow exact recipes?
+
Your bartenders make the drink. We generate the recipe and send it to the staff device.
There’s creative freedom for experienced bartenders — it’s built for real-world service.
Do you integrate with POS?
+
Not currently — it’s separate for now.
Payments happen in the app so you get clean tracking and automatic split payouts.
What’s the checklist / rollout plan?
+
You’ll get a mapped placement plan and prompt kit. The basics:
place QRs per our venue map, attend training, post 3× leading up to launch,
and use the staff prompts during service.
We can give you the bricks — but the venue controls fulfilment and activation.
What do you actually provide for setup?
+
Standard rollout includes: 30 QR table tents, 10 on-bar QR boards,
a venue-mapped placement plan, and a staff prompt kit.
From certain tiers we supply the physical pack; entry tiers may be “print yourself”.
What if staff don’t push it?
+
Ultimately the venue controls fulfilment and staff behaviour.
We provide training, prompts, and a checklist — and we’ll work with you to improve adoption —
but we can’t run your floor for you (yet).
Do I need to buy new stock or hire more staff?
+
No. Custom Cocktails is built to use the stock and staff you already have.
We can recommend a CC section on your next menu reprint, and redesign services are available if needed.
How do you keep recipes “stock-aware” and up to date?
+
We start from your base stock list. Updates are handled through our team with a typical
24-hour update window. If you run out mid-service, staff can use sensible alternatives.
Are the cocktails classics or weird AI drinks?
+
Each drink is bespoke to the customer’s taste profile. Ingredients can look surprising on paper,
but work in the glass — which is why customers only receive the recipe after fulfilment.
Do customers see the recipe before they pay?
+
No. Customers receive the recipe after fulfilment.
We’ve found completion + satisfaction are highest when customers judge the experience by the final cocktail,
not by reading ingredients mid-order.
How do allergies work?
+
Customers can enter allergens in the flow (next to their name, before payment).
The system hard-blocks those allergens in generation and displays allergen info alongside the recipe.
Customers with allergies should also tell staff when ordering.
Who is responsible for allergen compliance?
+
The venue. We’re recipe generators — not cocktail makers.
You control fulfilment and must serve compliantly.
We include disclaimers and allergen display to make compliance easier.
Do you age-gate under 18s?
+
Yes — there’s an 18+ checkbox.
The venue still controls fulfilment and performs ID checks at point of service.
Orders made knowingly by an underage drinker and refused service at the bar are not entitled to a refund
(per our terms).
What data do you store — and are we GDPR safe?
+
Yes. We handle compliance and work with Stripe for safe payments.
Quiz results can be stored with the customer’s name and emailed to them after fulfilment so they can come back and reorder.
If a customer requests deletion, our team can remove their data.
What if Wi-Fi is bad or the iPad dies?
+
Works on 4G (Wi-Fi recommended).
Keep the device on charge. If needed, the system can be accessed from a staff phone as a backup.
Do you offer support on weekends?
+
Yes — support level depends on tier, up to a 24-hour support line.
We want you confident using the system and we work with you until it lands.
When do updates happen?
+
We notify you, and releases happen on Monday mornings to avoid disrupting weekends.
Which venues qualify for free setup?
+
Cocktail-focused venues qualify first.
Restaurants/hybrids can still use the system (paid), but results and fulfilment speed vary by venue type.
Pubs, breweries, tap houses, and venues that don’t sell cocktails do not qualify.
Is there postcode exclusivity?
+
Yes. We won’t take another venue in your postcode.
If a nearby venue asks, we’ll come to you first. Exclusivity can be reserved with a deposit.
